Change contact details and billing details

In this article you'll read how to update the contact details and invoice details of your WebOké account: your name, email address, invoice address, and VAT number. You'll also read how to have invoices sent to your accountant. Forgot your password? Then click Forgot password on the login page.

Changing your details

  1. Log in to My WebOké.
  2. Click My Administration in the menu and choose the Details tab.
  3. Change whatever you want to update.
  4. Click Save changes at the bottom. A message will appear at the top confirming your details have been saved.

On this page you can change:

  • Personal information: your first and last name, email address, phone number, and language. You'll receive our messages and invoices at this email address. Your name appears on your invoices.
  • Invoice address: company name, VAT number, address, postal code, city, province, and country. This information will appear on your invoices.
  • Default payment method: how you pay your invoices by default. Want to pay automatically? Then read the article on direct debit.

The invoice address under My Administration › Details
Your change only applies to new invoices. Invoices that have already been created keep the details that applied at the time they were created.

Need an outstanding invoice updated with your new details? Ask us via a ticket.

Your account details also serve as your own domain contact. If you're the owner of domains under this contact, your changes will automatically carry over to those domains and to the registry. With Change history you can see when your details were changed. All fields are listed in Changing your details and invoice address.

VAT number and business customers in the EU

Are you a business customer? Then fill in your company name and VAT number, for example NL123456789B01. Your VAT number will then appear on your invoices.

Do you have a company in another EU country and a valid VAT number? Then VAT can be reverse charged and you won't pay Dutch VAT. This doesn't happen automatically: request the reverse charge via a ticket and include your VAT number.

Invoices to your accountant

Want your accountant or a colleague to also receive the invoices? Then create a contact that receives billing emails.

  1. Go to My Administration › Contacts and click New contact.
  2. Fill in the name and email address, for example accounting@yourdomain.com.
  3. Under Email preferences, check Billing emails.
  4. Click Add contact.

Read more about contacts in Managing contacts. You can also forward a single invoice yourself from My Invoices, see Viewing and downloading your invoices.

Invoices under a different name

Do you want a package or domain to be registered under a different company or person from now on, for example after selling your company? Then don't change your own details, but transfer the package or domain to the WebOké account of the new owner. Future invoices will then be issued in their name. Invoices that have already been sent will remain with you. See Transferring and merging accounts.

Changing your login email address or password

You don't change the email address you log in with under Details, but via Login details (bottom left in the menu, or directly via My Login Details). There you can also change your password, set up two-factor authentication, and view your active sessions. See Changing your login email address.

Contact details of your domains

The holder details of your domain names may differ from your account details. You manage these under My Administration › Contacts, or on the domain page under Domain contacts. Changes are automatically passed on to the domain registry. See Domain contacts and changing the owner.
