Cancelling, undoing cancellation, or transferring a product

At the bottom of your package's product page, you'll find two cards: Cancel product and Transfer to another customer. Domain names are cancelled separately, see Cancelling or transferring a domain.

Cancelling a product

  1. Open the product page and click Cancel product at the bottom. A window opens.
  2. Choose when (1). With At the expiry date, the product keeps working as normal until that date, after which it's automatically ended. You won't receive another renewal invoice. With Cancel and delete now, we delete the product immediately, including all files, e-mail and databases. You won't get back the remainder of your term in that case.
  3. Choose a reason (2), or tell us in your own words why you're cancelling (3). A reason is required. We learn from this.
  4. Click the red button (4), for example Cancel as of followed by the date. If you chose to delete immediately, we'll ask you to confirm once more and you'll need to tick a checkbox.

Please note: domain names in the package aren't automatically cancelled. The window shows which domains these are. Cancel them separately if needed, or move them elsewhere, see Transferring a domain away: transfer code (EPP) and transfer lock.

Is there already an outstanding renewal invoice? Then you can choose to cancel as of the previous expiry date, in which case we'll credit the outstanding invoice, or as of the new expiry date, in which case you'll still use up the term that's already been invoiced.

Undoing a cancellation

Cancelled as of the expiry date and changed your mind? As long as the product is still active, you'll see the Undo cancellation button on the product page. Click it and the product simply continues.

Transferring to another customer

Selling your business, or is someone else taking over your website? Then you can transfer the package to another WebOké account, including all linked domain names. There's no charge for this. If the recipient doesn't have a WebOké account yet, the e-mail they receive explains how to create one first.

  1. Click Transfer at the bottom of the product page.
  2. You'll see which domain names are included (1). The domain holder of each domain transfers along with it.
  3. Enter the e-mail address of the receiving customer (2), and again to confirm.
  4. Enter your own password to confirm (3) and click Transfer (4).

Transfer to another customer

The recipient receives an e-mail listing exactly what is being transferred, with an accept button (valid for 24 hours). The transfer only goes ahead once it's accepted. Until then, you can withdraw it using Withdraw transfer.

Please note: everything transfers to the new owner: websites, e-mail and data. You can only transfer a package if there's no outstanding invoice for it, and only the account owner can do this. Reseller packages can't (yet) be transferred by yourself. Want to transfer your entire account or merge two accounts? Read Transferring and merging accounts.
